Welcome

This blog features work of students in the United Arab Emirates. The ideas expressed here are captured on video and edited by broadcast journalism students. Videos are posted freely. No effort is made to find a balance of opinion. These are all point of view pieces that represent the ideas of the filmakers or their subjects. Please take a moment to comment, we really appreciate your thoughts.

I think blogging is great for getting connected with others regardless of geographic borders.

I look forward to seeing some more stories.

Ok, this is the third time I've had to create an account in order post a blog (google). Frustrating.

However, I'd like to learn more about your program and look forward to updates. Keep up the good work.

this blog is great. i like the idea that students and professors are running this blog based on political , social and entertainment events. what i like is that " express your opinion freely" really works here!. the progress is obvious among UAE students. and sharing it with the rest of the world is great. by clicking three times italy knows about this blog. thats great! blogs are power. i hope more people add comments. personally i think its great because thanks to blogs the pause and play international film festival which students are working on is being advertised freely thought the wolrd wide blogs.

Good luck with the blog. Just an idea, why not have individual contributors log in with unique names instead of collectively writing as uaestudents?

This way one can ascertain who's who and identify trends in your works.

Looking forward to more :)
